Life insurance has many purposes. One general purpose of a life insurance policy is to replace income if the insured dies prematurely. It gives peace of mind to the insured because the monetary insurance benefit is given to the insured’s family or survivors. It’s as though that individual is still generating income for their loved ones. The insured knows that if something happens to them, their family will be taken care of.
At Orton Insurance, we treat you the way we’d expect to be treated. As it happens in many cases, most families don’t know what their future needs may really be. So, we’ll start first where you’re at with what you have. Second, we’ll identity your future financial requirements, hopes and even retirement dreams. Third, we match our products and find you the financial solutions your family will require for a secure future. We’ll help you find peace of mind for your future.
At Orton Insurance, we use many A+ rated life insurance companies. Together, we’ll help you solve complex financial problems that businesses and estates create at the death of owners. We’ll assist you, your business group, and your family members resolve difficult situations before they ever happen. You’ll feel peace of mind knowing that you’ve taken care of your most important needs.
This is a very subjective figure and is something that should be discussed with your family. A few things to take into consideration are as follows:
Disability insurance secures an individual’s income at least partially if he or she is disabled because of an illness or injury and unable to continue doing their occupation. Policies vary in what the definition of a disability is. Some policies pay a claim if the insured is unable to do the job they are qualified to do. For example, a surgeon is highly payed because of the special duties he can preform. If something happens to him and he is unable to perform surgery, then it is unlikely that anything else he does will give him the income he had before. A properly structured disability policy replaces that lost income.

There are several pieces to Medicare Coverage that you need to know that are the main framework to the system itself. Those vital and necessary parts are Part A, B.
Original Medicare Parts A & B will pay for much of your care after some deductibles and other expenses, however they don't cover all your expenses. Medicare supplements or Medicare advantage plans can help pay those healthcare expenses. See the Medicare Supplement Plans and Medicare Advantage for more information.
Medicare has a great set of resources to help you understand how it work. Click Here to view resources.
Medicare Part D is drug coverage. Original Medicare does not cover medications with a few exceptions.
Many plans are available. Every plan must cover drugs in each therapeutic category, however one may cover certain drugs better than another plan.
Tools such as Medicare.gov can help you find the plan best suited for you drug list and pharmacy choice.
These plans work hand in hand with Original Medicare Part A & B. After Medicare has paid, then the supplement will pay. Costs associated with each policy type are different.
For Example on a Plan G you will pay only the part B Deductible for the year before all of your medical expenses are covered. In 2022 that is $233.
Typically a person will pay more money per month for a supplement than for a Medicare advantage plan, however out of pocket costs after the premium are usually lower.
These can be used with any provider that accepts Medicare.
You must purchase a drug plan separate of a supplement. They do not come together as they could in a Medicare Advantage Plan.
We'll help select the appropriate plan for your needs at no cost to you. We get paid by the companies you choose to work with.
Medicare advantage plans are different from supplements. They are comparable to traditional health insurance with deductibles and copayments. There are also drug benefits that come with most Medicare advantage plans. They're often called Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plans. A person with good health that's using very few services could save money using this kind of plan.
Think of these plans as a "pay as you go" policy. The savings comes in not spending extra money on the premiums that you could have spent on a Medicare Supplemental Policy. You only incur cost when you use services.
These plans use the health insurance company's network of doctors and facilities.
